Senior Capstone 2:

The Fohr Almanac of Influence

student project led by Fohr, no official endorsement or collaboration

For my second capstone project we worked in groups with an external client partner based on a brief that they provided.

The company my group was partnered with was Fohr. An influencer marketing agency. This was a very unique company to work with because it was content and service focused, rather than product focused.

As we spoke more with the company it became clear that their greatest ambition was to be considered a thought leader and educator. So we embarked on a journey to expand their content/informational output via their publication: The Almanac.

Our brief: With the rise of gen z and gen alpha, how can Fohr continue to be a leader in the influencer marketing space?

We began with using all of our desk research from our initial Gen Alpha research (choosing to focus on Gen Alpha rather than Gen Z because the company had already made significant progress in this area). With this research we began writing longer-form articles/trend reports on Gen Alpha and their content and purchasing habits. We then did a redesign of their print and digital versions of their almanac, making sure to cater it towards Gen Alpha visually.

We tested articles on Substack for engagement, sent out surveys and asked people if they would subscribe or be interested in our revised version of the almanac.
